Good to Wow–Flowers

GoodtoWow2

Linking up with my mom today for this week’s theme of flowers.

It is officially spring in the good ol’ USA, but the signs of it are, unfortunately, not as obvious. Buds are starting to pop up and the rain is falling, but that’s about it. So, I decided to take out a new spring dress, hang it from a tree, and snap some pictures. The air was fresh, the ground wet, and my hands full of string as I somehow managed to tie both ends to a branch.

Being the height that I am, it is no small feat, let me tell you.

OK, so I found these….but are they really flowers? I’m thinking weeds. Oh well.

And I just had to share two (edited) of my little helper.

Love them! So creative photographing a flowery dress! And even if it looks like a weed, if there's a flower on it, it counts. :)

Love that dress - looks so fresh in the breeze! And of course those are flowers - weeds can have flowers too! ;)

PS - you have such a cute little helper!

haha! So creative!! Love the dress already! Bet it is cute on a person, too seeing it's cute on a tree!! :) And I bet those nice new boots you have will look fabulous with the dress!

You had a very pretty helper! Did you have to put her on your shoulders??? :)

I'm choosing to consider those things flowers, not weeds -- because it's all in how you look at things... :) (I wrote a little something for my sister for her birthday one year and put it w/ a pic of a "weed" -- let me know if you'd like to see it! I'll send you the flickr link)
