Linking up today with my mom for this week’s SOOC shot of ourselves! =) I recently posted a picture of myself here…but if you are a follower for my photography blog, you know that I often display self portraits on here.

Linking up with Ashley for today’s edit of our SOOC PINK shots.
Before:
After: Popped colors, added highlights, and re-sized for web.
Before: Was not crazy about this angle and I despised being able to see my tripod in the background.
After: Cropped the photo to make it feel more personal with the subject. Popped the colors a bit and added highlights.

Some more Before and After shots of Jordan!
Hope you all are having a wonderful week!
Just a little boost of color and brightness on this one. Nice and natural.
played with some different edits and liked this funky one. =)
This is a sweet brown edit. I ♥ it.
Prince Caspian. He melts my heart. He drives me nuts. The End.
I can’t wait to get back outside and take some pictures of SPRING! Today it was a whoppin’ 60 degrees out and we all got to go outside (with snow still all over the grass) without jackets. It was just beautiful.
Linking up with my mom for today’s SOOC of this week’s HEART ♥ theme. Sorry, I just couldn’t choose one picture this week! =)
Here are some before (SOOC) and after (edit) shots from the shoot on Wednesday. As you can see, I didn’t do much at all to them except a little boost of color and brightening up. Going soft on edits is what gives photos that natural, but striking look that everybody loves. Going ‘edit crazy’ sometimes causes your photos to come out too fake looking – and I’ve learned that from many past editing mistakes. =)
The above picture isn’t my favorite edit, but I wanted to use it as an example. See how it kind of has a red-yellowy tint to my skin? Having a lot of red hues in a photo (clothing, backdrop, etc.) usually end up showing somewhere on the subject. For people, it’s usually the face. For me, editing with red faces has always been tough – I’m still learning how to get rid of it without using the ‘eliminate red face’ action in Photoshop*.
just added a dash of light on this one and it came out great.
