So, as I said in my last post…spring has not been very visible where I live. (note: lots of emphasis on the word very)
We’ve had some cold spots and…well…it’s snowing. Yes, it’s true. That white, frozen liquid is falling from the sky as I type and I honestly feel like crying. Just thinking about the 75 degree weather we had last week doesn’t help my situation much either.
Oh well…enjoy these somewhat spring edits. Now off to find a shovel…

It is officially spring in the good ol’ USA, but the signs of it are, unfortunately, not as obvious. Buds are starting to pop up and the rain is falling, but that’s about it. So, I decided to take out a new spring dress, hang it from a tree, and snap some pictures. The air was fresh, the ground wet, and my hands full of string as I somehow managed to tie both ends to a branch.
Being the height that I am, it is no small feat, let me tell you.
OK, so I found these….but are they really flowers? I’m thinking weeds. Oh well.
And I just had to share two (edited) of my little helper.
ever since I can remember, was to own and wear a pair of real cowgirl boots. Not that I was horse crazy or anything, in truth I am not a huge fan of animals in general, but something about them always spurred my imagination – like running through a field of flowers with them on my small feet. During my younger stages of life, cowgirl boots = cuteness, flowers, and ultimate power against bugs. (or in other words, cowgirl boots = squashing unwanted creepy crawlies.)
Well, actually, that equation still holds true today.
Anyway, a friend of mine recently came over and was wearing the most adorable pair of…you guessed it…cowgirl boots. I just had to try them on (can you truly blame me?) and instantly fell in love.
Long story short: my boots came in the mail two days later.
Ok. So not only are they super comfy, adorable, and the ultimate bug eliminator – they are TEAL inside! *squeals*
notice you all are experiencing a very girly part of me.
I’m sorry, but guys miss out on SO much.
just sayin’.
Seriously, these are the most comfortable shoes I have EVER worn. In my life.
